We like to use pork loin in lots of recipes and treats. This is an easy thing to make that will lasts several meals. Seasonings like onion powder can be toxic for dogs, so the pork loin should be cooked with no seasoning.
Makes 4 Servings for a 50-pound dog.
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/4 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt containing live active cultures
- 3 scoops K9 Platinum Multi Powder
- You can make this all in one big pot of water.
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cook the pork loin in a baking dish, covered with foil, for about 45 minutes, or until the middle of the pork is no linger pink. Remove it from the oven and set aside to cool.
Puree the broccoli in a food processor or boil for 40 minutes and mash. You should end up with around 1/4 cup.
In your dog’s bowl, combine the pork, rice, broccoli, and yogurt. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
