This recipe was such a favorite, I used to make it once or twice a week. You can form it into smaller balls for treats or larger patties for meals.

  • 3 pounds cooked and shredded chicken (4-5 skinless boneless breasts)
  • 2 cups cooked brown or white rice
  • 1 large sweet potato
  •  5-6 large carrots
  • 1 cup fresh green beans
  • 1-2 eggs
  • 3 scoops K9 Platinum Multi Powder

You can make this all in one big pot of water.

Bring water to a boil.

Add sweet potato carrots and green beans. Boil for 15 minutes. Add chicken and boil for another 30 minutes.

Take out chicken with tongs and set in large bowl to cool. Drain vegetables in colander and add to large Tupperware container.

Shred turkey in the large bowl using an electric mixer (I’ve found this to be very efficient).

Add eggs to make it nice and sticky.

Give a rough mash to the veggies using a hand masher or large fork (Make sure any green bean strings are removed).

Fold the rice, veggie mixture, and supplements into the shredded chicken until  you get a good sticky mix.

Form into balls of patties. Freeze if not used in a few days.

Serving: Feed 1/4 cup twice a day to a medium sizes cat; 1 cup twice a day to a medium sized dog.

Variations: This recipe has a lot of room for variation, just don’t get carried away with adding different vegetables and end up feeding your pet more veggies than meat. You want to keep at least a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio of meat to vegetables and rice mixture.
